How can this little guy be so stinking handsome & so big?! He is absolutely loving his first year in school, the prek 3's class. :) LOVE LOVE LOVE his class picture!!!

Ayden loses a tooth :)

This boy was SO excited that one of his front teeth were loose .... until he lost it! He was actually pretty sad about it. ;) My sensitive little sweet heart. He will fool you. He acts SO tough. But his heart is so soft. <3 font="">

Celebrating 37!

Whoa .... 37 years! How in the world is it even possible? I think back to the years before babies... before husband .... birthdays were all about the parties! Now a days I am so happy to get a night off the kitchen, no nighttime routine duties, & maybe even the possibility of a nap! :) My day was spent with a little of the above. I can't complain. I love motherhood. I love being a wife. If I'm not around ... the day doesn't go on. :) Face it, boys need their Mamas!! Cheers to another year......

Henry's 1st day of Prek 3's

This sweet boy finally gets to go to school this year too! He was super excited to carry his backup, pack his lunch, & even take his nap gear. Day 1=success. Day 2=left him in tears. He has Ms. Felicia ( the queen of glitter ) - the same teacher that Ayden had for that class. We love her lots! Henry is one of 12 little kiddos in the class. He's made a very sweet friend, her name is Austin. Luckily, her Mama & I are good friends & becoming even better friends now that our babies are so close. :) Here's to a fun new year .... we hope!!  

Mason's 1st day of 3rd Grade

Here we go - another year!! Mason is in 3rd grade & has 2 teachers this year. Mr. Adia is his homeroom teacher. He LOVES him of course. We are so excited for the new year & all of the adventures to come with it. He is in a new school & upstairs! :)

Ayden's 1st day of Kindergarten

Phew ... just like that. We have a KINDERGARTNER! When did Ayden grow so fast? These past 5 years have flown by with him!! He was beyond ready to start school. Years of mother's day out, learn & play class, & zoo preschool - this boy was READY! We are SO excited for a fun year in a brand NEW school with a super fun teacher!!! :)

Life as we know it ...

So, as life would have it, July flew by & August is right behind. There was a whole lot of summer fun & travels. Just plain ol' chaos and fun all packed into one.  I feel like summer came & went super quick this year. *sniff* Month long road trip - Carlsbad Caverns Tour - Hoover Dam Visit - Overnight Las Vegas Stop - CA visits - New York Excursion for Mom & Dad only :) - And DISNEY LAND topped off one of our best summers yet! Lots of pics to come ....

As of now - school has officially started & we're all happy to be back into our daily routines. :)

Summer Vacation 2016

It's that time! Our annual family summer vacation is under way. Over 30 days of many miles traveled & numerous landmarks seen will fill our schedule this summer! :) Stay tuned for updates along the way! 

Camp Thurman 2016

The boy's adventures for a week at Camp Thurman may be over but the memories will last a lifetime! Mason's 2nd annual experience & Ayden's 1st were truly wonderful. The excitement in their little voices after a long day of play was enough to remind us how thankful we are for these opportunities. Camp Thurman is AWESOME ... quoted daily! :) The messages we received from each counselor makes us SO proud of our little guys!! (see below)

Kidron Valley - Swing

 

A note we received from FuFu:

"Hey Jason and Christina! Fufu here! I am here to fill you in how much of a blast I have had with Mason! Mason is one of the kindest and respectful boys I have ever counseled. He has followed every rule I have given him accordingly and has been nothing but kind. Mason has served as the man for encouragement for our group. For example, today at the K-Klimb Zipline, Parker and Walton were afraid to go on the zipline, but before something could come out of my mouth, Mason talked with them saying that "Christ was lifting them" throughout the ride. Throughout the week so far, Mason has lifted the spirits of the other campers whenever they have felt down about something. He also performed that same action with his brother whenever they were doing the Tarzan's Swing. Mason pushed him to go to the highest level at the swing, and certainly got him to do it. Mason's uplifting ability is reflection of what the Lord seeks in all of us, and it has been a wonderful thing to see what he has done in action here at Camp Thurman, and I want to thank you guys for bringing Mason and his brother here to explore more about the Lord, but also have a fun time in doing so. You guys rock!"

"Ayden has been so awesome this week Ayden loves doing all the activities at camp. Ayden listens to everything I say and follows all the rules. Ayden does everything he needs to do and has been an awesome kid in a group of twelve boys. It has been great having him in my group this week and I can't wait to do even more fun games with him and the rest of the boys."

 

Henry's 3rd Birthday Shenanigans!

June 13, 2016 - This little sweet heart turned 3!
How is that possible? He was being VERY shy to the camera. :)

 

3rd Birthday Shenanigans! Summer birthday = pool party!! Well until he is old enough to request different. When we have 40 adults & 40 kiddos ... the pool is the BEST place to be. :) Henry wanted a candy party & that is what he got!

The day was perfect. A hot dog bar with fun treats treated everyone. The kids got to make their own goody bags at our candy bar. Everyone swam for hours. When time to sing - Henry played shy shy. We saved gifts for home thank goodness. A thunder cloud brought heavy rains but not enough to cancel any fun, only add to the fun day! :)
