Ayden loses a tooth :)

This boy was SO excited that one of his front teeth were loose .... until he lost it! He was actually pretty sad about it. ;) My sensitive little sweet heart. He will fool you. He acts SO tough. But his heart is so soft. <3 font="">

Ayden's 1st day of Kindergarten

Phew ... just like that. We have a KINDERGARTNER! When did Ayden grow so fast? These past 5 years have flown by with him!! He was beyond ready to start school. Years of mother's day out, learn & play class, & zoo preschool - this boy was READY! We are SO excited for a fun year in a brand NEW school with a super fun teacher!!! :)

Camp Thurman 2016

The boy's adventures for a week at Camp Thurman may be over but the memories will last a lifetime! Mason's 2nd annual experience & Ayden's 1st were truly wonderful. The excitement in their little voices after a long day of play was enough to remind us how thankful we are for these opportunities. Camp Thurman is AWESOME ... quoted daily! :) The messages we received from each counselor makes us SO proud of our little guys!! (see below)

A note we received from FuFu:

"Hey Jason and Christina! Fufu here! I am here to fill you in how much of a blast I have had with Mason! Mason is one of the kindest and respectful boys I have ever counseled. He has followed every rule I have given him accordingly and has been nothing but kind. Mason has served as the man for encouragement for our group. For example, today at the K-Klimb Zipline, Parker and Walton were afraid to go on the zipline, but before something could come out of my mouth, Mason talked with them saying that "Christ was lifting them" throughout the ride. Throughout the week so far, Mason has lifted the spirits of the other campers whenever they have felt down about something. He also performed that same action with his brother whenever they were doing the Tarzan's Swing. Mason pushed him to go to the highest level at the swing, and certainly got him to do it. Mason's uplifting ability is reflection of what the Lord seeks in all of us, and it has been a wonderful thing to see what he has done in action here at Camp Thurman, and I want to thank you guys for bringing Mason and his brother here to explore more about the Lord, but also have a fun time in doing so. You guys rock!"

"Ayden has been so awesome this week Ayden loves doing all the activities at camp. Ayden listens to everything I say and follows all the rules. Ayden does everything he needs to do and has been an awesome kid in a group of twelve boys. It has been great having him in my group this week and I can't wait to do even more fun games with him and the rest of the boys."

Jason was having a conversation with the big boys on their way to camp this morning. He asked them to each name 6 things they want to do this summer before it ends. :)

These boys have some really fun requests! We will accomplish them all .... Right, Grandpa Howard? You ready for a day of play at the beach? :-)

Ninja Turtles Spring Soccer '16

Another great soccer season complete for Ayden! He dominated. We were moved to a new Ninja Turtles team since our previous team fell apart & the coach retired. :) Ayden didn't mind at all. He fit right in with his new coach & teammates & had a great season. :)

The director posts photos throughout the year of class activities & events ... I snagged all of these gems with Ayden in them. So happy to get a sneak peek into his class, thank you Ms. Ashlea for all you did to make it another great year for one of our kiddos!

Another wonderful year of Zoo Preschool!

Ayden finished up his year of Zoo Preschool today & will definitely miss it. He would always ask when it was going to be his turn to go to zoo school every week we'd take Mason. A couple of years went by & it was finally his turn. He was so happy to go to school at one of his favorite places! I remember walking him to class his first day & being teary-eyed when he took off to his desk & waved bye with a huge smile. He was so excited to join a super fun class that "taught you school & took you into the zoo"! :)) He adored his teacher, Ms. Becky. He enjoyed his teacher aids & really liked all of his volunteen teachers too. Every holiday he wanted to make them feel special by surprising them with a sweet treat. His love for Ms. Becky showed today when giving good-bye hugs. Her last message was that she has grown to love each & every student as her own & for us to please remember they are special & to always take good care of them. Love zoo school & that Mason had a chance to attend, now Ayden had his turn, & hopefully Henry will too next...

Mother's Day 2016

Mother's Day 2016 - I get so excited every year to spend MY day with these 3! This time we spent our day at Six Flags. The boys absolutely love it there & so do I, win win! They made me so many cute pictures & treats in school, brought me a bouquet of beautiful flowers, helped Dad make a delish red velvet cake, & gave me the most PERFECT card! Many days go by that I feel like a SUPER MOM. :) Jason's card is just perfect too he said ... I got a good chuckle. :) Being able to stay home with these guys has been the biggest reward ever. Some days are harder than others. I truly enjoy maintaining the daily chores... house... shopping... cooking... cleaning... working at home... being a good MOM & a good WIFE. I try to keep the balance of home, school & sports for the big boys in check. Sticking to our routine is a must but we do get to let loose & have lots of fun making sweet memories too! Hard to believe we're going to have two little men in full-time school next year. What will this SUPER MOM do with a little free time? ;) I'm so blessed!
