We decided to visit old friends this summer on our way to CA. They moved a few years ago from our neighborhood & we've missed them. They are living their dream. A beautiful homestead on a creek with nothing but wildlife peeking in their windows. We weren't lucky enough to see a bear this trip. Hope to the next time we visit them!
We got to tour Bishop's Castle - google it - a hand made custom built castle by a father & son!! It was totally amazing to see. And climb! The big boys made it almost to the top. We got to drive through the Garden of the Gods & check out the amazing rock formations. All of the landscape in CO is just beautiful. Helen Hunt Falls was such a pretty hike. Never once did the boys get tired of nature. :)
The boys devoured chef Scotty's amazing dinners, made smores on the fire pit, rode 4 wheelers, played in the cold creek, & just had a completely amazing time being outdoors. Thanks Hall Family for the wonderful hospitality!
